Assessment Pattern

The IELTS exam pattern comprises of four sections; Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The candidates are tested on these four parameters.

Reading, Listening, and Writing sections of the exam are conducted on the same day and lasts around 2 Hours and 45 minutes
The Speaking section can be tested either on;
⦁ the same day,
⦁ or seven days before or after the date of examination.

⦁ There are organizations or institutions that require a minimum total rating in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in addition to minimum scores in each of the four competencies. Before taking the exam, it is recommended that you confirm the minimum score(s) required for your applications.

⦁ Where IELTS Life Skills is requested or needed, a regular IELTS for UKVI result may be utilized; nevertheless, applicants must achieve a Speaking and Listening score of 4.0 or above (and scores for Reading and Writing will be ignored).
